Jeff Leech is a longtime creative, collector, and small business owner whose work reflects a deep appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of the world around us. As of January 2026, Jeff is the owner of District Designs Vendor Market in Quincy, Illinois, where he continues to support local vendors while sharing his own unique creations with the community.
After a 35-year career in the medical field as an X-ray technician, Jeff transitioned into photography in retirement—swapping images of anatomy for the breathtaking landscapes of nature and America’s National Parks. His background in imaging gives him a trained eye for lighting, composition, and perspective, allowing him to create photography that feels both intentional and deeply expressive.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Jeff now resides near Liberty, Illinois, where he draws inspiration from the land, history, and quiet beauty of rural life. His creative roots began early, taking art classes as a child and continuing to explore drawing and design throughout his life. Today, that passion has evolved into a diverse body of work.
Jeff specializes in canvas art photography, often enhancing his pieces with unique embellishments to create truly one-of-a-kind works. He also offers his photography on a variety of items, including bookmarks, magnets, keychains, drink coasters, and handcrafted nightlights. In addition, Jeff restores furniture, curates antiques and collectibles, and creates handmade jewelry.
